Remember this: Take the Bible literally whenever it is at all possible. When the language cannot be taken literally, then we know it is figurative.The Bible is a revelation from God- a revelation is an uncovering or unveiling so that all can see alike what was previously covered or hidden. The only excuse any man would have for not seeing something that was uncovered for him is his willful refusal to look.
Now: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 NLT)"
Concerning: "May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. (1 Corinthians 1:3 NLT)"
This is a literal expression from the apostle Paul towards the people in the church of Corinth,
{He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.(1 Corinthians 1:2 NLT)}
now we know that all scripture is inspired by God for all generation to follow that call upon the name of Jesus Christ
Meaning in our lives:
The Greek word for grace is caris. Its basic idea is simply “non-meritorious or unearned favor, an unearned gift, a favor or blessings bestowed as a gift, freely and never as merit for work performed.”
The word for peace is eirhnh. It apparently comes from eirw which means “to join.” It means a state of untroubled tranquillity, a state without war or dividing factions or enmity. It refers to a state of harmony and well being.
So God gives us grace through Jesus Christ alone, unmerited favor and in addition to that He gives us peace - "to join" in His love of untroubled tranquility.
This is a big promise that is over read countless times, God gave us His Word directly to understand easily.
Summary: Trust the Lord God for everything in your life through faith, because He has blessed us with His grace we cannot earn, to live a life free of trouble with Him and to enjoy His love in our lives that bring upon so many blessing towards yourself and everyone that comes in contact with you.
Have great weekend full of grace&peace
